WHY-YOGA-EVERYDAMN-DAY

Practice and it’s all coming” As a person who practices asana everyday , has one ever wondered WHY is it so important to get on that mat everyday !?!


It’s easy to understand intellectually , experiencing practice is what we need here !!

I have always felt “Yoga is more about the FEELING than just mechanically DOING”

Practice is like a magic word which is used very often in any field you are in , in ASANA it teaches you life on that mat , opens a door with a sparkle of light and you start walking into that light , one of the reasons this practice has so much power !!

DAILY DOSE OF YOGA – -Keeps you disciplined – which in turn makes you disciples in other parts of your life , your sleep , metabolism and eating habits take a check the good once stay the rest just drops off

BODY -Gives a close look on how your body feels today -Breath and body takes over the mind -YES YOU LOOSE THE EXTRA FAT -Your skin glows -Basically you are in detox mode everyday (that’s a wow feeling for me 😁 😁 ) -It teaches you to be content ( santosha ) with your body and nonviolent ( ahimsa ) at the same time -It teaches you – your body anatomy so you know what to do when and how to treat your body

MIND -Brings you right back to the moment every time your mind slips into a story -You slow down and become aware of every minute detail -The voice in between the ears become loud and clear , so u can ask your brain to shut up when it repeats a story everytime. -CLARITY at its best ( I need to write a separate blog on this one 😊😊 )

Body also pumps out all that your are holding deep down and must have forgotten ( it’s like cleaning your wardrobe after ages or digging into your bag and finding you either don use or don’t need most of these things any more ) here it could be feelings , thoughts and assumptions which don’t matter any more , making your body more spacious 😊😊

So you are basically taking care of your MIND , BREATH , BODY & SOUL on a daily basis .

What happens after – STRESS takes a back seat , living becomes exciting , letting go of anything that you don’t need will just happen , you tend to carry out these learnings and experiences into your real world where you become – more aware , focused , energised , you slow down and this beautiful journey called life feels like a blessing !!
